🌿 Finding Connection: Reflections and What’s Next for Link2Love

The last few months have been a mix of planning, learning and moments that truly reminded me of why I started Link2Love. Between creating new events, meeting new faces and making a few difficult decisions, this season has been one of both reflection and quiet growth.
Manifext & Mingle - a small circle, a big impact.
There's something special about smaller gatherings. They often end up being the most meaningful, and Manifest & Mingle was exactly that.
Seven guests came together for an evening that felt calm, genuine and quietly powerful. Dr Lisa Thornhill led a beautiful mindfulness session that helped everyone slow down and reconnect with themselves. A reminder that love starts with self-awareness and self-kindness.
Afterwards, we shared herbal teas, cupcakes (made yours truly) and relaxed open conversation. It wasn't rushed or forced, just quiet, easy, human connection. What I loved most was seeing my guests relax into being themselves. No pressure, no expectations, just real chats, real smiles and a sense that this is what Link2Love is meant to be about.

Brewpoint - lessons in balance.
Not every plan goes how we hope, and that's okay. Sometimes, the right choice isn't the easiest one.
After weeks of planning, promotion and genuinely looking forward to the Brewpoint event, it became clear that the balance just wasn't coming together.
The ladies sold out really early on, and with the event approaching fast and only a handful of confirmed gents compared to the ladies, I knew going ahead would not be the right thing to do. Not for me and not for guests that had put their trust in me. So, even after a huge final push to gents to come and join us, with no further mens ticket sales, I made the very difficult decision to postpone.
It wasn't easy, and yes, it was so disappointing, but it reminded me why I started this in the first place: to create quaility experiences, not just fill spaces. Every event has to feel fair, safe, comfortable and enjoyable for everyone involved. That's something I'll aways stand by.

What's next for Link2Love
As we move into the festive season and beyond, I'm feeling a quiet sense of excitment for whats to come. Each new event is a chance to build on what Link2Locw stands for - connection, kindness and a little touch of sparkle!
Next up we are returning to The Residence MK for our Mistletoe & Mingle event - a Christmas soiree filled with laughter, conversation and festive charm. If you joined us for our September event at The Residence you will all ready know how glamourous this venue is, with a fabulous welcoming team with amazing cocktail making skills. Once again we have our own private area, live music and a welcome drink included in the ticket price. It will be an open mingle night for ages 21+ with a few conversation prompts dotted around if needed and of course the Link2Love team, and me your host, to make sure you are well looked after.
Then, early in the new year, comes HER Social for women loving women - and inclusive welcoming space to connect, make new friends and unwind.
I'll also be introducing The Connection Circle in 2026, a new monthly social focused on friendship and community, whether you're single, settled or simply seeking good company.
And of course, February will bring Cupid's Single Mingle 21+, a romantic evening for those who believe in meeting people the real way - face to face.
Each step feels like progress - not just in events, but in purpose.
Thank you to everyone who's been a part of the journey so far. Even if it is a like on one of my posts. It truly means more than you will ever know.
Love Sofia xx
